Why Choose Burke Consulting
Today's regulatory environment is becoming increasingly more complex for businesses and is in a constant state of flux. Significant stress has been placed on a
business' compliance capabilities and resources. Increased regulation, emanating from the Sarbanes-Oxley corporate governance and internal control requirements, has been especially burdensome for small to medium sized publicly owned companies.
These regulatory conditions have been further complicated by the restrictions placed upon the consulting services that a public accountant can provide to his client. To meet this dilemma, a company may elect to either expand its staff or engage the services of a second public accounting firm. Both options may present a significant financial burden to a complying company.
